This works with the stock wheel mech, as well as with the Precision Pinball Products upgraded wheel/bushing.
Please note: This mod requires 2-3mm clearance between the wheel and the adjacent plastic ramp. Out of the many I've shipped, there have been a couple where the Stern tolerances between the plastic ramp and the wheel did not allow for a free spin. I have a variant that does not have the lip around the base. If you buy the default version and it doesn't fit, I'll happily take it back or exchange it with the lipless version. If you check ahead of time and are pretty sure you don't have the clearance, you can opt to buy the rimless version from the start.
